The history of Proraso goes back a long way. In 1908 Ludovico Martelli from Florence founded a cosmetics company under his own name. His son Piero joined the company in 1948. It was at this time that Proraso the 'crema miracolosa' was introduced to the Italian public. This miracle cream could be used both before and after shaving. After years of dedicated research, finally a product was there that exceeded the high expectations of Italian men. Sixty years later the company is still run by the Martelli family and Proraso is now available to men all over the world!
